What I realized a few days back is not everything you do is cute, not everything you wear looks good on you, not everybody you hang around have your best interest at heart, not everything you say need to be said, not all of your dreams coming true, not everywhere you go is a place you need to be but every prayer you’ve prayed has being heard.

What I realized today (well I guess I always knew) is, people have double standards. The standard of how they want to be treated and the standard of how they treat people. They expect to be treated in a way that they themselves don’t even treat people.

What I heard someone say yesterday that made so much since to me is, “some people are so smart that they are dumb.” They have all the knowledge they can hold in their brain but when asked to put their knowledge to the test they tremendously miss the mark and appear stupid.

What I’ve learned from being in Hawaii for these last four days is, when people are going about their day not worrying about this or that, they smile more….ijs
